Accomodation Tax

According to Kyoto city Ordinance, accommodation tax per person per night (less than 20,000 yen: 200 yen, 20,000 yen or more but less than 50,000 yen: 500 yen, 50,000 yen or more: 1,000 yen) will be charged separately on site.

Please note that the accommodation tax is not included in the total room charge at the time of reservation. Please note that this must be paid separately upon check-in.

When do I settle the room charge?
Please settle your room charge at check-in.
What is your cancellation policy?
As a rule, cancellations are free up to 2 days before check-in.
Cancellations made 1 day before check-in will incur a 20% charge, and those made on the day of check-in an 80% charge.
No-shows will incur a 100% charge.
For group reservations of 15 guests or more, please contact your agency or the hotel directly.
For reservation plans with a separate cancellation policy, the relevant policy will apply.

Is internet connection available?
Free Wi-Fi connection is available in all guest rooms.
The password for connection can be found in your room guide, or just ask someone at reception.
What are your guest room amenities?
Guest rooms are equipped with bath towels, face towels, bath mats, nightwear, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toothbrush sets, and slippers.
Razors, hairbrushes, cosmetic cotton, and cotton swab are provided at the reception desk free of charge.
Is there a refrigerator in the guest room?
Guest rooms are equipped with an empty refrigerator.
Is there a safe-deposit box in the guest room?
All guest rooms are equipped with a safe-deposit box.

Other than the Superior Double and the Universal, all guest rooms have separate baths and toilets.

We do not have any rooms for large groups.
The Premier Twin can sleep up to three people.
We shall prepare the extra bed if the room will be used by three people.

Do you offer parking?
The hotel does not have a parking lot.

Is there a convenience store nearby?
There are two convenience stores (Daily Yamazaki and 7-11) within 2 minutes’walk.
Can I leave my luggage at the hotel before check-in and after check-out?
Reception will be happy to store your luggage upon request.
Note, however, that valuables are your own responsibility.
Can I send my luggage to the hotel before I arrive?
Please contact the hotel in advance.
We are happy to store your luggage until check-in, with the exception of valuables, food, and dangerous items.
Include your check-in date and reservation name on the shipping label, and address your package to the hotel.
Do you have a curfew?
The hotel is staffed 24 hours a day, but for security reasons, the front door is locked from midnight to 6 a.m.
You can enter either by calling a staff member on the intercom, or with your room key.
Are guide dogs and other service dogs allowed in the hotel?
Service dogs are welcome in the hotel, but pets are not allowed.

Babies & Kids

Do you charge extra if my child and I sleep in the same bed?
The overnight charge is free for a child of elementary school age or younger (up to 12 years old) sleeping with you in the same bed.
An adult charge applies if your child needs separate bedding.

If coming by train or bus

Access by bus or taxi from Kyoto Station

Please take a city bus or taxi from Kyoto Station.
If taking the bus, get Bus No. 4, 17, or 205 from Bus Stop A2.
It takes about 10 minutes from the Kyoto Station Bus Terminal to Kawaramachi Matsubara, the bus stop right by our hotel.
