Your Gateway to the Soul of Kanazawa
Settle into the heartbeat of Kanazawa, where every corner tells a historical story, and every encounter is a treasure. At “the square hotel KANAZAWA” we aspire to be more than just a place to stay; we aim to become a vital nexus in the city’s vibrant tapestry, much like the iconic public squares found around the world.
ConceptGuest Rooms
Beautiful, modern Kanazawa-style bedrooms boldly decorated with the traditional five colors of Kaga design.
Kaga Yuzen silk dyeing is one of Kanazawa’s most famous traditional arts.
It is characterized by its five distinct colors called “Kaga Gosai,” which we used to spice up the design of each room.
We made use of a large amount of wood for the flooring and
the area surrounding the bed in order to create a soothing, relaxing space that is still very modern.
